"Theatres like this one allow you to
take chances. It is my hope that one day, somebody who starts a great career
will look back, and when they're asked where their play was done,
they'll say 'I started at the Weller.'" - Michael Weller (September 2005)
The Weller
closed it's doors on June 30, 2008.
The
Michael Weller Theatre
was a charming 50-seat black box
perfect for anything from staged readings to full-scale productions. With an
ideal mid-town location at 311
West 43rd Street 6th Floor,
in the heart of the theatre district, audiences had no problem finding
you. Whether you were looking for a one-night engagement or an extended run, the
Weller was available to meet you production's needs. Rehearsing a show? We had a
20x20 rehearsal room
as well! Unfortunately the Weller no longer exist but hopefully, in time, we
will be able to offer these same accommodations once again for you. In the
meantime, go to
www.nyctheatrespaces.org to find a theatre that works best for your
immediate needs.
