Since the age of six, Ms. Goding has performed onstage and in film and participated in numerous audio theatre projects with the critically acclaimed Colonial Radio Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2001, she joined Actors’ Equity Association and began serving as Treasurer and Administrator for Broken Watch Theatre Company, where she works closely with the Executive Director to produce accurate financial reports for budgeting and company audits as well as to uphold and sustain the company’s financial integrity and stability. Since joining BWTC, she has implemented a financial tracking system; customized a database to track current and potential donors; created in-house forms and designed a custom filing system for all bills, donations, box office receipts, theatres, publicity materials, grant information and forms. Currently, she also runs her own bookkeeping and administrative consulting business with clients in New York and Boston. Her services include overseeing and tracking all financial transactions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables; creating standards and procedures for staff; researching general information for company operation; communicating with and producing financial reports for company accountants; developing and implementing custom office systems; arranging lodging and travel for staff and acting as technical support for commonly used software. Prior to her move to New York, Ms. Goding lived in Virginia and Massachusetts. During her time in Virginia, Ms. Goding worked on integrating the performing arts into the lives of the physically and mentally challenged in addition to teaching Drama and Chorus in a local high school and middle school, where she encouraged self-expression through theatre games, journal writing, rehearsals and performances and introduced the applicability of the performing arts and the empowerment of its teachings to everyday situations. In Massachusetts, she continued mentoring young performing artists by assistant directing in local colleges and performing art camps focusing on students in grades K-12. Ms. Goding’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from Longwood College (summa cum laude) as well as an eight week intensive Shakespeare Course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London.
